Not to long ago I purchased the kenpo home study course. If I may I'd like to start with a little background info. I have black belts in other systems, and have done alot of mma training. I spent some time as a defensive tactics instructor for a military and law enforcement training facility. And I taught martial arts for almost ten years until my instructor passed away. That's when all the politics kicked in and the infighting started and people went their separate ways to teach how they felt things should be taught(dosen't that sound familiar). That's when I decided to take some time off. I have always been interested in kenpo for a number of reasons. The science and physics of it, as well as it's study of motion and human reactions to strikes. The problem was that the closest kenpo school to me is several hours away. After alot of research I wound up speaking Kevin Lamkin about the AKLA home study course. I purchased the course and was blown away by the amount of detail and information covered. I've trained with instuctors that didn't cover this much information in person. If anyone is thinking about getting the home study course(or any other material from the Lamkins') I highly recommend them. I would like to thank Kevin and Eric Lamkin for all of the time and effort they put into making this course. And also for giving me back my passion for the martial arts.
Thanks,
David Morgan
