Hello,
I am very interested in the instructorship program as outlined on the website. However, my partner who has been teaching in his own school for 16 years wonders why he has to go through the program to be certified to teach? Can he teach the material without going through the instructorship certification process? He's a great instructor in our kenpo-ju-jitsu school. Any feedback can help.

Good question Grasshopper,
Your partner can add the material to his curriculum. However, it would be a disadvantage to him and his students for not seeking to become an authorized school.
First, he would not be able to promote them to our ranks. Also, if it becomes merged in with his curriculum and he promotes them to the kenpo belts, it would mean nothing since we have no belts.
The students could enter the Praetorium on their own and become ranked by us. It is highly recommended that they get a copy of our materials to follow the training guide if they do it this way. Or else, they may not be trained correctly to pass the trials.
Second, it would be a disadvantage to him. There are many schools in our nation that send instructors to camps to get an instructor certificate, and then advertise that they teach that system at their school. There is no way that you can do this with our system without having first learned it. These instructors do this so that they can tout the newest fad in the magazines. Maybe one day ours will be the newset rave in the magazine, and if it does, it will be too bad for your partner, because he will not have been an accredited school or instructor.
Usually, when I get questions like this it is because the instructor is out of shape and is afraid that his students will do better than he. Well, that is why we designed the system the way we did. We want everyone to get into fighting fitness. If his students excel he should be proud of that and not of a certificate hanging on his wall saying that he can teach ten styles because of his weekend camps that he attended.
So, Grasshopper, help your partner out. Train with him and encourage him to push forward. The first generation starts now!
In addition, The Elite-Fighters System is multi-tiered. One tier is the ranking level of the student, the second tier is the quality of each student within their ranks. The third tier is the instructor qualification. By following our instructorship guidelines, even a veteran instructor will become better and more professional.

I talked my partner into going for it! To get involved in the instructorship program we will be mentoring each other, while staying under the guidance of the founders of the elite-system, as you mentioned in the website. Thanks for clarifying our concerns and making it possible to get into a legitimate teaching program. This is a great honor!
