As stated on the AKRC website (http://www.american-kenpo-legacy.com/index.htm):
"The American Kenpo Research Council - A.K.R.C. - is devoted to presenting documentation, resource materials and study/training materials encompassing the entirety of American Kenpo, in all of its various forms and systems of presentation."
Participation with the AKRC can be done in many ways. We have projects including:
Individual and Committee contributions of documents of various Kenpo organizations, such as: technique comparisons of the Kenpo associations, training tips, history, theory and analysis, etc. Individual and Committee research and analysis of various topics of the martial arts, training, theory, applications, etc. Other group projects and contributions. There is no contribution too small to be of use. The mission of the AKRC is to present Kenpo in as much of its entirety as possible. Pictures, articles, and personal experiences can greatly add to the wealth of knowledge that is part of the heritage of Kenpo. Presenting the information with the AKRC can help to alleviate some of the confusion and disagreement within the Kenpo Community.
If you wish to participate, or have you instructor to become part of the council, start today!
