Short Forms 4 and 5

I can't say thanks enough for releasing the Forms Short 4 and 5.

I have always wanted to know these. My instructor said that there were short forms 4 and 5 back years ago, but he had never learned them. I have been searching for these forms, but no one has them.

I really love the treatment that you guys did on the use of the weapon applied with these forms too. The written manual that came with it makes it easy for me to do just the traditional empty hand version and with weapons.

I can see how the diamond of the Universal pattern is used in Short 5. But I am not quite understanding of the concept of compassing in short 4. It is just scanning the obscure zones, or is there more?

Compassing is used throughout Short Form 4. Watch how the angles change. Compassing is also used in the double cover-out. If you understand the double cover-out you will understand how to analyze Short Form Four.
